The problem:

Cinespace wanted a site that felt as fresh and dynamic as the filmmakers they support — not just a digital brochure, but a proper online home that reflects their new branding and makes it super easy to find info and apply for programs.

What I did:

Led the full redesign and rebuild from the ground up, turning a clunky old site into a sleek, scroll-happy platform. Worked hand-in-hand with a brand strategist and designer to make sure every pixel matched the new look and feel.

Outcome:

Happier users, easier admin, clearer messaging, and a site that finally matches their big-hearted mission.

The (fun + functional) process:

• Reshuffled the site structure so people can actually find what they’re looking for
• Prototyped everything in Figma (hello, no surprises at launch)
Built the whole thing in Wix
• Made it mobile-friendly, lightning fast, and easy for the team to update
• Added little design touches to make the brand pop without overwhelming

The glow-up results:

The new site launched just in time for their residency program and made a splash with funders, partners, and filmmakers alike. Bonus: it now does a better job at converting visitors into applicants (and future collaborators).

Films By Fatima

The brief:

Fatima needed a digital home for her work — one that felt stylish, cinematic, and true to her voice. She wanted to showcase her design work across narrative films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos, while sharing the creative vision behind each project.

My solution:

I built a sleek portfolio site in Carrd (yep, a full website — not just a landing page!) that brings her visuals to the forefront. Think rich dark backgrounds, a soft-but-bold pink and yellow palette, and carefully curated stills that show off her eye for detail. We skipped the autoplay videos and went for strong imagery that speaks for itself.

Outcome:

A dual-phase digital hub: one side that attracts participants with a fresh, alternative vibe and, later on, a results showcase featuring video highlights, live performances, films, tunes, and behind-the-scenes magic—all wrapped up in one engaging online experience.

Design vibe:

• Feminine but fierce
• Clean layouts with a cinematic mood
• Behind-the-scenes moments that add warmth and personality
• A custom logo that’s elegant, simple, and totally her

Why it works:

The site flows like a visual storybook — each project has space to breathe, with just the right amount of text to highlight Fatima’s vision and process. Her Lebanese background and global projects shine through, and the design is as versatile as her filmography.

The brief:

SXSEA and Cinespace joined forces for a new creative program—and they needed a landing page that shouts “This is different!” while still playing nice with Cinespace’s brand.

My solution:

I designed a custom landing page that sets itself apart by swapping out the usual aqua for an edgy dark green. The page sports a grunge-meets-bright aesthetic and layout tweaks that make it instantly intriguing.

A modern, mobile-friendly portfolio that feels like Fatima: grounded, bold, and full of style. She now has a site that doesn’t just say “I’m a production designer” — it shows it, beautifully.
